His 2018 FB post, titled “I Was Almost a School Shooter,” went viral, and not long after that, his Ted Talk of the same name garnered 14 million views. Now, when school shootings happen -- most recently in Uvalde -- he is swept back into the conversation, in a big way, with appearances on CNN, WGN, and Morning Edition and many more. I talk to him about the experience of communicating within the personal, societal, political, and media storm around guns, and how to craft messages powerful enough to do real social good -- Aaron Stark.
